IOP-USAID Boresha Afya

IOP is one of the partners to Deloitte Consulting Ltd in the implementation of the USAID BoreshaAfya Program. IOP will work in Kilolo District with the focus on comprehensive and integrated health service delivery for preventative and curative services with regard to HIV/AIDS, TB, and Nutrition. 

The program is funded by the American People through USAID aiming to support the Government of Tanzania (GOT) to increase access to high quality, comprehensive and integrated health services, especially for women and youth with a focus on maternal, neonatal, child and reproductive health and nutrition outcomes.

USAID BoreshaAfya – Southern Zone is a five years project (October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2021) funded by the American People through USAID aiming to support the Government of Tanzania (GOT) to increase access to high quality, comprehensive and integrated health services, especially for women and youth with a focus on maternal, neonatal, child and reproductive health and nutrition outcomes.

USAID BoreshaAfya – Southern Zone will focus on comprehensive and integrated health service delivery for preventative and curative services with regard to HIV/AIDS, TB, FP, Malaria, MCH and Nutrition. The geographic areas are the regions with high disease burden namely Iringa, Njombe, Morogoro, Lindi, Mtwara and Ruvuma (Malaria only). USAID BoreshaAfya – Southern Zone project is managed by Deloitte Consulting Ltd in partnership with FHI360, Management and Development for Health (MDH) and EngenderHealth.

IOP will concentrate in Kilolo, Iringa Region.
